Johnson Controls Denmark Awarded Supplier of the Year 26-07-07

At the end of 2006 Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies, which includes Thermo King Corporation, selected Johnson Controls Denmark among several thousand vendors to receive the Supplier of the Year Award 2006.

The Supplier of the Year Award 2006 comes after a long business relationship between Thermo King and Johnson Controls, which started when Thermo King took over Sabroe Controls in 1996. The products that Johnson Controls are supplying to Ingersoll Rand include MP-3000a Control Boxes for Thermo Kings container factory in Suzhou China and SG+ Genset Control Boxes for Thermo Kings genset factory in Hastings, NE.

At an award handover event at Johnson Controls in June 2007 Mr. Sham Salaymeh, Ingersoll Rand Global Director COE Electronics, presented the award to Mr. Palle Jørgensen, Johnson Controls Director, Business Development, who received the award on behalf of the entire Johnson Controls team. During his award presentation Mr. Salaymeh highlighted among other things the strong market knowledge, engineering partnership and service support from Johnson Controls as key motivation for the award from Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies.
